Drupal at scale - two cases studies: Urbo.ro & Adulmec.ro

Drupal is a wonderful development framework but not everything is perfect, particularly when developing sites that have to support a large amount of content or traffic. In this session, I will talk about the developmental and tuning challenges we face at two of our largest projects, Urbo.ro and Adulmec.ro. Urbo.ro has in excess of 200,000 nodes and more than 1 million page views a month and is quickly growing.

I will talk about lessons learned from the development and operation of those two sites, common mistakes to avoid and good solutions to make Drupal scale.
