The House of Culture of Students Bucharest is a public institution under the authority of the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports, withing the National Authority for Youth and Sports.

It was build at the initiative of mr. Stelian Popescu, the president of the Universul company, with a project by arch. Petre Antonescu engineered by Emil Prager. The building was inaugurated on 18th of November 1937 and was known to past generations of students from 1957 until 1982 as "Grigore Preoteasa" House of Culture of Students.

The Bucharest House of Culture of Students is providing resources and promoting for cultural, educational, entertainment and non-formal education interdisciplinary activities that target the students community and youth in general.
